About FlexRay™ and this website

The FlexRay™ Communications System is a robust, scalable, deterministic, and fault-tolerant digital serial bus system designed for use in automotive applications.
It was developed by the FlexRay™ Consortium, a cooperation of leading companies in the automotive industry, from the year 2000 to the year 2010.
The FlexRay™ Consortium has concluded its work with the finalization of the FlexRay™ Communications System specifications Version 3.0.1. These specifications as well as earlier releases are available for download here.
 
Since the FlexRay™ Consortium came to an end, a membership to the FlexRay™ Consortium is no longer available.

To ensure seamless availability of the FlexRay™ specifications for the public the company Altran took over the task to operate and maintain this website.
